Jessicadancemusic

Jessicadancemusic makes acid house, trance and techno music. With the support of the NextGen Fund, she has been able to build her network; produce music with other DJs, producers and songwriters; and attend workshops and events with others in the industry.

Jade Bellevue de Sylva

Jade Bellevue de Sylva is a DJ and workshop facilitator. In 2024, she was one of Battersea Arts Centre's 'Next Gen Producers'. Since being funded by Youth Music, she has established the grassroots underground music community 'Listen+Learn', which offers practice sessions, open decks and events for budding DJs based in London.

Helen Edgeworth

Helen Edgeworth writes and performs indie and folk-rock music. She has supported Sarah Klang at the Brudenell Social Club, been backed by The F-List and Launchpad, and is featured on Come Play With Me's 'Side By Side Vol. 4' vinyl compilation.

Heather Cartwright

Heather Cartwright is a guitarist based in Scotland. Her work includes performing solo and in ensembles, community music, writing commissions, studio recording and teaching guitar workshops. To date, she has toured regularly around Scotland, performing alongside the likes of Beth Malcolm, Hannah Rarity, Ainsley Hamill and Josie Duncan.

Gabby Rivers

Gabby Rivers is an indie-pop artist based in Norwich. She has played at Latitude Festival, Secret Garden Party Festival and Wild Fields Festival, and has sold out her own headline shows.

Eden J Howells

Eden J Howells is an alternative folk-rock musician based in London. They released their debut EP 'the fool' in October 2023, and since then, have surpassed over 10,000 followers on TikTok and sold out a headline show in Shoreditch's 'Strongroom' venue.

DJ H4ZZA

DJ H4ZZA makes music to raise awareness of issues surrounding autism, mental health and the LGBTQ+ community. He has his own radio show at Milton Keynes Hospital, and has been commissioned to write music pieces for charities such as Talkback, to be featured in their public awareness films.

Chandni

Chandni's music has been featured across Spotify Editorial playlists and BBC Asian Network, who recently named her their 'Artist of the Week'. She has performed at BBC Sussex Live Lounge and Latitude Festival, and looks forward to releasing a new EP in 2025, titled 'BRB'.

Bruna Garcia

Bruna Garcia is a singer from Wales. She is a frequent performer, and has graced stages at BBC Introducing LIVE 2023, Sŵn Festival, and opened for Kojo Funds in May 2024. To date, her music has been featured across BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Wales, ITV News Wales and more.

Jack Boynton

Jack Boynton is a promoter, artist and music educator from Lancaster. His event brand, 'BaccyJ n Folio Productions', brings affordable shows to Lancaster's local live music scene, supporting the city's community centres and charity initiatives. His events aim to be as accessible as possible, and innovate within live music by incorporating different art forms into each gig.

Aphra

Aphra is a songwriter, performer and guitarist. They have performed at festivals including Sundown, Latitude and Moseley Folk Festival, and their single 'Candyfloss' was longlisted for Glastonbury's Emerging Talent Competition.

afromerm

afromerm is a South London-born sound artist, composer, producer and poet. She performs with a motion-reactive electronic instrument which she built and developed herself, and was granted an Oram Award in 2023 for innovation in sound. Her recent performance credits include Tate Lates, Jazz Stroud and Le Guess Who? festival.

Anman

Anman is a fashion designer and musician who sentimentalises discarded everyday materials and collages them into slow-fashion pieces. She approaches her music in the same way, with a process she describes as 'audio-collaging'. She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Earth Hackney, and festivals in Germany, Georgia and the UK; and has composed soundtracks for the Georgian National Ballet.

NextGen Community Events

Our NextGen Community events give attendees aged 18-30 the chance to connect with other creatives in their local city, listen to panel discussions from industry experts and watch performances from emerging artists.

Grants of up to £3,000 for 18 to 25 year olds creatives (aged up to 30 for those who identify as d/Deaf, Disabled or neurodivergent) in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
