Right now, Youth Music can only invest in around 23% of the projects that apply to us for funding. That is why we work with leading companies in and around the music industry to build a joined-up music sector that is diverse, representative and creates opportunity in every region.

With our national reach and strategic overview of the music landscape coupled with your brands expertise and resources we can create a lasting legacy for young people in music. Whether through mentorship, workshops, access to cutting-edge facilities, or financial contributions, we can create a partnership to help position your forward-thinking brand, bring your activations to the next generation and hit your ESG goals.

Invest In Our Funds

Our work focuses across 4 funds that are strategically designed to achieve systemic change at scale. You can invest directly into these established and proven funds that work across the country to ensure young people can make, learn, and earn through music.

Trailblazer Fund

This fund invests in grassroots music projects across England who aim to trial new ways of working and disrupt the status quo. (Ages 0-25).

Catalyser Fund

This fund invests in community music organisations over a long-term basis, enabling them to build capacity and scale-up delivery. (Ages 0-25).

Incubator Fund

Invests in the independent music sector to create real paid work for 18-25s, diversify workforces and support early-career development.

NextGen Fund

Invests directly in emerging creatives enabling them to deliver and own an independent project and build their portfolios.

Design a Project

In 2020, we partnered with Music Ally for their Creative Entrepreneur Programme, a free programme for young people in the UK who want to enter the music industry – as artists or as budding entrepreneurs – but who may lack access to many of the traditional routes in and opportunities.

This unique program provided comprehensive training and mentorship to nurture talent and equip participants with essential skills needed to navigate the music industry successfully.

Out of 100 participants, Music Ally selected two outstanding performers to win at the Youth Music Awards in 2021: Jenuelle Na-Oy on the business strand and Nelson Navarro on the artist / creator strand.

Partner with NextGen

We have built a national network of young creatives and artists who want to build and work in the music industries of the future – our NextGen community. We offer paid opportunities, funding, industry connections and more for those who face barriers to earning in music. For brands interested in youth culture and creating a more accessible, more diverse and more representative music industry, then there are numerous ways we can add value to your brand. With no one partnership looking the same, see how we can amplify activations, support your ESG goals and diversify your audience.
