Studio sessions, Glastonbury & Performance opportunities
Music is a key part of Levi’s heritage and this flagship partnership started when Levi’s Music Project created their Discord platform to support emerging artists and engage music lovers with their brand. Partnering with Youth Music, we were able to connect our UK-wide community and help Levi’s grow their target audience.
Levi's generously offer monthly studio space for our NextGen at their Haus of Straus studio in Carnaby Street, London, providing an incredible opportunity for young artists to have a dedicated and creative space to work in, as well as being kitted out in Levi’s clothing!
In 2022, Levi's invited 3 artists from our NextGen Community to Glastonbury for an activation to create content and receive customised apparel from the brand. They have also offered paid performance opportunities for some of our young DJs at their branded events.
Awards sponsorship, NextGen Community & Instrument donation
We have worked with Marshall Amps over several years, providing several touch points that have enabled them to make real impact on the ground. These initiatives have included:
- A video series demystifying the various jobs that exist in the music industry for our NextGen community and those interested in behind-the-scenes roles.
- Generously donating much needed instruments to projects working on the ground.
- Sponsoring the Youth Music Awards.
Donations from Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes gig to celebrate their 60th year anniversary.
- Supporting our NextGen fund directly through their Jim Marshall Charitable Trust
NextGen Community & Awards sponsorship
Keen to support youth culture and artists that resonate with their brand Turtle Bay Restaurants supported 11 of our NextGen Fund artists. In addition to their financial investment, we were able to create a partnership that raised awareness of their brand and supported our NextGen community with creative opportunities and of course, some tasty food!
- Gave all the 11 Turtle Bay Sponsored NextGen artists ‘Island Passes’ so they could eat and drink at the restaurant over the course of the year, whilst posting content to their influential social media accounts.
- Hosted NextGen networking events, including a partnership launch event with host of the Capital Xtra Breakfast Show, Shayna Marie.
- Promoted NextGen music – sharing playlists on the Turtle Bay website and music in branches across the country.
- Sponsored the ‘Outstanding Project Award’ at the 2021 Youth Music Awards.
- Supported the 2022 Youth Music Awards by providing Turtle Bay food for all NextGen freelancers and backstage staff.
