Taking place from 15-17 May 2025, The Great Escape is the festival for new music, showcasing 500+ emerging artists from all over the world at venues across Brighton.

This year, we have several artists playing from the Youth Music NextGen community and would like to show our support for their performances.

We are also hosting an event on Saturday 17 May in partnership with BBC Introducing: Next Generation Day. It's a day full of talks, discussions, case studies and insights aimed at the next generation of the music industry. 

You will be attending gigs and panel talks, taking photos (photographer) / capturing content for Youth Music's social media channels (content creator). 

Experience and qualities we're seeking:

• Have experience of taking photos at events (photographer).
• Have experience of capturing and editing TikTok content and Instagram Reels (content creator).
• Passion for music and belief in its impact on young people’s lives.
• Understanding of Youth Music’s mission and willingness to represent it authentically.
• Confident in crowds.
• Based in/around Brighton.

Fee:

• Content Creator: £350 (+up to £50 travel expenses).
• Photographer: £300 (+up to £50 travel expenses).

Youth Music aims to support young people in the early stages of developing creative careers, therefore we would particularly like to encourage applications from those aged 25 or under (or up to 30 if d/Deaf, Disabled or neurodivergent).
