The Youth Music Awards 2025, in association with Hal Leonard Europe, will return to London's Troxy on Wednesday 15th October 2025.
If you've taken part in a Youth Music-funded project or received funding through the NextGen Fund within the last five years, you’re eligible to be nominated.
Whether you're nominating yourself, someone else, or an organisation making a difference in music, submissions are now open via Award Force, our official nominations platform.
Deadline for nominations: 16 February 2025, 11pm
Eligibility:
- You must be aged 18+ to nominate yourself.
- You must be aged 16+ to nominate someone else.
Music Video Award
For an outstanding music video that features a Youth Music funded artist or has been created by a Youth Music funded project.
Lyricist Award
For outstanding lyrics in an original track by an artist or group involved in a Youth Music funded project.
Original Track Award (Solo)
For a track written and recorded by a solo artist from a Youth Music funded project.
Original Track Award (Group)
For a track written and recorded by a group (two or more people).
Music Producer Award
For outstanding technical skills in music production, engineering, mixing and/or mastering.
Rising Star Award (Artist)
For a rising musical group or solo artist from a Youth Music-funded project that is making waves in the music industry.
Rising Star Award (Industry)
For a young person from a Youth Music funded project who is making waves in a behind-the-scenes role within the music industry.
Young Leader Award
For a young person who has demonstrated great leadership skills as a project participant.
Inspirational Music Leader Award
For a music leader who inspires project participants through their actions, creativity, determination, positivity, energy, selflessness or ability to overcome challenges.
Outstanding Project Award
For a Youth Music funded project that pushes the boundaries to promote inclusive music making.
Social Action Award
For an individual, collective or project that has made an outstanding commitment to local community and/or social justice issues.
