Leamington Sinfonia Young Soloists Competition

      Leamington Sinfonia is proud to announce the Young
      Soloists Competition, scheduled to take place in January 2025.
 
      This competition presents a unique platform for aspiring
      musicians aged 21 and under to showcase their skills by
      performing a concerto or movement(s) from a concerto alongside
      the esteemed Leamington Sinfonia under conductor Joe Davies. Not
      only will participants have the chance to perform with our
      orchestra, but they will also compete for the coveted Young
      Soloist title and an opportunity to perform the concerto in full
      with Leamington Sinfonia in 2025/26.
 
    The panel of judges comprises distinguished figures from the
      Warwickshire music scene, including Richard Laing, the conductor
      of the Leamington Chamber Orchestra (LCO), Louise Braithwaite,
      renowned for her expertise in oboe and cor anglais with the
      English Symphony Orchestra (ESO), and Howard Skempton, esteemed
      composer and patron of the Leamington Sinfonia (LS). Their
      expertise and discerning judgment will ensure a fair and
      rewarding competition experience for all participants.
