Lewisham Education Arts Network (LEAN) supports organisations and individuals working creatively with children and young people, but we want to hear what you think!
Who is better placed to tell us what projects would work for young people than you?
We will share your knowledge and expertise with arts organisations in Lewisham to help shape future arts projects in the area.
What will young people do as part of Lewisham Creative Youth Council?
Meet with other young people aged 15-19 and someone from LEAN to discuss the Arts and creative opportunities in Lewisham. We will listen, make notes, share experiences, and then pass on your ideas to Lewisham arts organisations working with children and young people.
It is a chance for young people to help shape the future of creative projects in the borough and to hang out with a friendly and relaxed group of like-minded people.
We don’t hold stuffy meetings – we play games, explore creative ideas and respect all opinions.

Where and When?
The first sessions will take place on Zoom:
- Wednesday 30th June 17.00-18.30
- Wednesday 21st July 17.00-18.30
After that, we'd love to meet in real life (but let’s wait and see).
We hope you will join us for all of the sessions but we understand that life gets in the way. If you can’t make every date, just let us know.
