Incubator Fund

We know the most significant barriers to working in the music industry come down to the meaningful opportunities and networks in your own community. Working with YouTube Music and tapping into their expertise and Covid Recovery Funds, we were able to secure significant seed investment into our Incubator Fund.

Together, we provided grants of £5,000 to £30,000 to small independent businesses, collectives, and not-for-profits working in the music industries to create sustainable and meaningful career opportunities for underrepresented young people aged 18-25. YouTube Music were keen to invest at scale and beyond London. Our national reach, knowledge on the ground and new Incubator Fund gave them the perfect vehicle to meet their goals of supporting the next generation of emerging talent.

NextGen Access Fund

We are committed to breaking down barriers to the music industry. Working closely with Dr Martens and their Foundation, we identified the major challenges the Disabled community face in accessing and applying for funding. In line with Dr Martens strategic goals, they invested in our NextGen community to help cover access costs for young artists and creatives who identify as d/Deaf or Disabled, and Neurodivergent. This crucial investment allows us to provide even more opportunities and support for young Disabled creatives to explore their passions and build careers in the music industries without barriers.
