About Hot Chip

One of the key acts under the influential DFA umbrella, London's Hot Chip established themselves as purveyors of harmonic and accessible synth pop with 2004's Coming on Strong. More than just a band that can churn out club hits, Hot Chip turned down the tempo to show off their R&B balladry on 2008's Made in the Dark. Throughout their career, they've earned praise for their ability to transform festival grounds into disco dance floors—an energy that also pulses through 2015's Why Make Sense?.
