We’re excited to announce the appointment of three new trustees to our board: Nathifa Jordan, Miri Buac and Sam Denniston.

Between them, they bring a wealth of experience to Youth Music across finance, communications, the music industries and grassroots music-making.

Most importantly, they share our determination to make sure every young person can make, learn and earn in music, whatever their background or goal.

YolanDa Brown, Youth Music Chair, says:

“It’s a very exciting time at Youth Music, with continued growth and evolution in our funding and projects. We have a wonderful group of passionate and knowledgeable trustees and we set out to add new members with a focus on diverse backgrounds, lived experience of Disability and strong knowledge of comms, finance and the music industry."

"I am thrilled to welcome Nathifa Jordan, Miri Buac and Sam Denniston who all shone through and demonstrated great knowledge of what we do and our growth. Each new trustee brings a wealth of experience and drive, we are so pleased to have them join our board.“

Nathifa, Miri and Sam join us at a pivotal time in our development as we continue to respond to the impact of COVID-19, instigate new programmes including our new NextGen Fund and look ahead to the Youth Music Awards 2021 in October.
