We're putting together a team to help us run the Youth Music Awards, taking place on Wednesday 20 October 2021 at Troxy, London.
In 2019 we hired a team of young people to help us run the first-ever Youth Music Awards, as event runners, bloggers, photographers, videographers, social media managers, presenters and more (read about it here). This time, we're expanding!
**This event was originally scheduled for Wednesday 21 October 2020 and has been rescheduled, due to the coronavirus pandemic, for the safety of our guests.
We're currently recruiting for the following roles on the night:
- Awards hosts
- Performers (These acts must have taken part in a Youth Music funded-project from January 2015 onwards.)
And the following roles to work prior to the night:
- A video editor who can create celebratory, professional, branded visuals for the Youth Music Awards.
Youth Music aims to support young people in the early stages of developing creative careers, therefore we would particularly like to encourage applications from 18 to 25 year olds. You don't need to have taken part in a Youth Music project to apply to be a host.
Hosts and performers will need to be available to be at the Youth Music Awards in London on Wednesday 20 October 2021 to attend the live event or Sunday 26 September 2021 for a pre-recorded event - we'll cover travel expenses.
Video editors will need to be available to work on a part-time, freelance basis across May to July 2021.
For more information download the application packs below.
Don't see a role for you?
We'll be looking for more people to help us on the night, including event runners, social media managers, photographers and more. Sign up to our newsletter at the bottom of this page so you don't miss when these roles go live!
