Kickstart Placement - Career Music Practitioner

We are looking for a motivated musician with an interest in building a portfolio career, developing their creative and technical skills, and their workshop lead skills with young people excluded from mainstream education.

We are offering a six-month long placement through the Kickstart scheme for a Career Music Practitioner.

We are looking for a motivated musician looking to build a portfolio career, developing their creative and technical skills and workshop session skills with young people excluded from mainstream education. 

You will need to demonstrate your musicianship and/or music tech skills to a high level and show a commitment to working in a community, participatory music environment.

Take Art can help you with the next steps of your career and can offer help with writing funding bids if required.

The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new jobs for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment. This placement is 25 hours per week for six months starting on 6th December 2021.
