Independent Label Market will celebrate its 10th anniversary with two special Summer Markets; the first will take place at Coal Drops Yard (London) on Saturday 10th July and the second will follow a week later on Sunday 18th July (London location, to be announced). The events will bring together the finest independent labels from around the globe, including 4AD, Apron, Brownswood, Erased Tapes, Hyperdub, LEX, Partisan, Rough Trade and Sunday Best.
We are looking for a freelance events assistant to support the marketing team deliver on-the-day social campaigns at the two London events. There would also be some ad-hoc runner work on the day helping with the set-up of the event - hanging bunting/signage, getting coffees etc. The role will involve 2 hours training (pre-events), two full days at the events, and 2 hours debrief. The hourly rate for the role is £10.85p/h (London Living Wage), and the timings will be approximately 10-11 hours for the Coal Drops Yard event, and 7 hours for the second London event on Sunday 18th July.
Candidates must be between 18-25 years old, have an excellent understanding of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, be passionate about independent music and fluent in English.
