Live music concerts promoter/booking assistant

Gotobeat is a London-based (Stoke Newington) concerts promotion company born in 2018.

Since its launch, Gotobeat has rapidly created a vast community of thousands of music lovers coming to its events (in-person and live-streamed). Gotobeat works with 200+ artists from all around the UK and 20+ music venues in London among the most established ones in the independent music scene.

Thanks to Youth Music Incubator found’s grant Gotobeat is going to select three young aspiring live music concerts promoters / booking assistants for a seven-month paid programme (to be eventually extended), during which they will learn how the live music industry works and will start organising a series of events to be put on in selected partners’ spaces with Gotobeat’s support and budget.

These jobs are part of a larger project that Gotobeat is creating, called Gotobeat Academy.

Gotobeat Academy is a permanent academy for aspiring promoters, focusing especially on those coming from a difficult and underrepresented background, in order to give 18-25s access to a professional and friendly hub where they can develop their skills, learn about the live music industry and express their ideas freely.

This job opportunity and the Gotobeat Academy are designed to help open up access to sustainable careers in music for people aged 18-25, particularly those who are underrepresented.
