An exciting opportunity for young women, trans and non-binary folk (aged 14-19) based in the North East to explore your creativity and experience life as a professional young artist.
This free 5-day in-person project will give you the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with other young musicians to create new music
- Record your work at a professional recording studio
- Perform on a live stream from a world class music venue (Sage Gateshead)
Led by Newcastle-based artist, musician and composer Me Lost Me, you’ll also:
- Develop and build on your existing song ideas and material
- Experiment with new equipment, tools and techniques to take your music further
- Learn from professional musicians, songwriters, producers and music industry professionals
- Gain an insight into different elements of music performance, recording and production
- Receive taster sessions in sound engineering, and how to create visuals for live performance
