Metronome Events presents SYNTHESIS in support of Youth Music North East. Synthesis is a masterclass in music production, featuring guest speakers who are experts in the field of analogue synthesis, soundscaping, sound design, DAW production and experimental compositional techniques. The speakers will give exclusive behind-the-scenes access and guide the audience through their creative processes step-by-step. Speakers: Lee Goldsworthy: A specialist in analogue synthesis, soundscaping and atmospherical electronic music. Lee will discuss his hardware and his performance approach, as well as his process for improvisation. Phil Begg: An expert in sound design and sound engineering, mixing and mastering. Phil has been a mentor for finalist composition students, sharing his wealth of knowledge within the field. The audience will gain an insight into Phil's vast expertise.
