Apply to perform at the Youth Music Awards

We're looking for performers to open and close the Youth Music Awards. These acts must have taken part in a Youth Music project within the past five years.

Performers will need to be available to be at the Youth Music Awards in London on Wednesday 20 October 2021*, and comfortable with performing in front of an audience of up to 700 people.

For the opening and closing acts, we're looking for something special and unusual. This could be a whole-group performance, a one-off piece, or an exciting new collaboration.

If you're an act with a history of live performances and an extensive setlist, why not apply for the Live Performance Award? The three nominees for this award will also be performing on the night.

**This event was originally scheduled for Wednesday 21 October 2020 and has been rescheduled, due to the coronavirus pandemic, for the safety of our guests.

We will provide travel expenses for performers, and we are keen to represent Youth Music projects from all parts of the country.

Your application

Tell us why this act would give a great performance at the Youth Music Awards.
We understand it will be difficult to record new footage under social distancing restrictions, so old/rehearsal videos are fine! You don't have to provide this but it will strengthen your application.
Selected acts will be performing to an audience of up to 700 people.
